Recruiting/Summer Associate Program
|
LYMAN, TWINING, WEINBERG & FERRELL, P.C., recruits associates who desire to try and to assist in
trying lawsuits, in addition to handling a full range of civil litigation matters during their first years
of practice. Qualified applicants are articulate, self-confident, and possess a strong personal goal to excel
at trial work. The firm considers law school and undergraduate academic activities relevant to professional
success. Although we seek to employ students in the top one-third of their graduating class, superior
accomplishments in law school and trial-related activities, such as moot court and mock trial, may offset
otherwise lesser academic accomplishments.
The firm's informal atmosphere fosters interaction between
associates and shareholders and results in the rapid development of the associates' abilities,
responsibilities, competence, and confidence as trial attorneys. The firm follows a progressive advancement
philosophy which currently results in an associate's eligibility for shareholder consideration seven years
after their association with the law firm.
